If you’re anything like me and you struggle to gain constant, round the clock access to social media sites like Twitter 24/7, let me talk to you about scheduling tweets with Hootsuite.
You may of heard of this site before but it’s something that I know not everyone knows about and it’s such a crucial step in being able to take full advantage of what social media sites have to offer you.
For example, you already know that Twitter allows you to interact with people all over the world, enabling you to send out tweets directing them to your blog in order to drive traffic and boost SEO. It can be frustrating when you can’t post a tweet at peak times for other countries because you’re at work or school, in bed or on holiday!
Well imagine if there was a website that could automatically post your tweets for you, at whatever time you desire, on whatever date you choose.
Hootsuite allows you to do everything you thought wasn’t possible in regards to posting tweets at times you don’t have access to your smartphone, computer or internet!
After you sign up for your account and log in via your social media account, Hootsuite allows you to write a tweet and schedule it for whenever you see it fits best. Maybe you want to send some tweets out during a Twitter Chat or you want to post links to your blog or website a certain amount of times per day whilst you’re away on holiday. Well now you can relax by the pool without having to worry about not having access to Twitter to guide your followers to your new blog post!
Another awesome feature this website offers is that it allows you to schedule tweets that will be sent out to specific time zones. This feature is called ‘Targeting Options’.
For example, if you’re on your way to bed but you want to post a tweet in the middle of the night to target audiences outside of your timezone, Hootsuite allows you to enter the desired location you wish to target and time you would like it to be delivered at (desired location’s time) and Hootsuite will calculate that for you and make sure it is sent out at that time to that specific location.
Here’s an example:
This is just a couple of examples of the ways Hootsuite can help schedule your tweets. They have a lot of great resources and their analytics are a really good way to see how your tweets are received and shared what works best for you.
I hope this post helped you as scheduling your tweets is one sure way to get your blog recognised globally and boost your traffic!
